The Basil David Anthony Foundation is proud to announce that it has officially received approval from the Ghana Education Service (GES), Okere District, to establish Studentpreneurship & Enterprise Development (SEED) Clubs in basic schools across the district.
This milestone approval reinforces the Foundation’s commitment to its mission of “Transforming Africa one entrepreneur at a time” by equipping young learners with the entrepreneurial mindset, practical skills, and leadership abilities needed to thrive in the future economy.
Under this initiative, students will be introduced to Entrepreneurship & Enterprise Development, a dynamic approach that blends business knowledge, real-life problem solving, leadership training, and physical discipline.
At its core, SEED is about more than education. it is about igniting a fire within every student and planting the seeds of entrepreneurship early, nurturing them with the right mindset, discipline, and exposure, so they grow into confident individuals capable of creating their own path to success.
The programme will be led in the Eastern Region by Mr. Addai Asamoah Peter, who will coordinate implementation across participating schools.
The SEED Clubs are designed to:
-
Inspire students to become job creators
-
Build confidence and innovation from an early age
-
Provide practical exposure to business and enterprise
The Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to the Okere District Education Directorate, led by Ms. Faustina Akorfa Akplu, for their support and collaboration in advancing youth empowerment through education.
This initiative marks the beginning of a broader national rollout aimed at nurturing the next generation of African entrepreneurs, lighting the fire today and planting the seeds for tomorrow’s leaders.
